Our Favorite Way to Spend a Snow Day in Jackson. Whether you're carving up the slopes or keeping it cozy, there's no wrong way to enjoy a snowy day in Jackson. Here's how we make the most of it:

Start the Day Right

Fuel up with a bagel and hot coffee from Pearl Street Bagels—perfect for a chilly morning before heading out, just don’t ask them to toast.  They’ve never had a toaster, as the bagels are baked fresh.

Hit the Slopes at JHMR

• Parking: Free and easy! Park at the Stilson Lot and ride the Start Bus - OR - carpool with 4 people gets you free parking at the Ranch Lot  pull up and ask.

• Favorite Runs: Rendezvous Trail is a challenging blue off Sublette Quad, but it’s worth it. On a sunny day, it's a scenic ski with great views of the Cody Bowl as you descend.

• Lunch: On the mountain, Casper Lodge has great Adirondack chairs. At the bottom, grab a slice at the Southcable Cafe, or grab a burger at  The Handle Bar  - Four Seasons…They treat you like a guest even if you can’t afford a room.

• Après-Ski: After your turns, head to the Alpenhof Lodge for a cozy fondue experience, - OR - treat yourself to a well-deserved après-ski cocktail at the  Mangy Moose—my personal favorite is the Wilson Mom, but they are famous for their Spicy Marg. 

• Traffic Hour: Caught in the post-ski traffic leaving the village? Make the most of it. Stop at M for some Aprés-Shopping.

Not a Skier? No Problem!

• Tubing at Snow King: For family fun, hit the tubing hill at Snow King Mountain—a guaranteed blast for all ages.

• Spa Day: After hitting the slopes, unwind at Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa | Slopeside Jackson Hole Hotel—with soothing treatments, eucalyptus steam rooms, and an infrared sauna to recharge. Local ID should get you 10% off.

End the Day

Wrap up your snow day with dinner in town.  Dine at the  Snake River Grill- don’t miss the Potato Pancake.  On a budget, Abelolitos is a great Mexican spot and they hand make their own tortillas.

No matter how you spend your time, Jackson in the snow is pure magic. ❄️
